If we were to dig into the theme of Supra ‘packing up’ most of their recent releases, these two pairs might be something like that box you left in the upstairs closet of your old apartment.  The Supra Skytop III has managed to make it to retail in a couple of colorways that didn’t earn any significant hype, though they’re arguably some of the best this model has produced to date.  One drops the cyan for a MYK combination that’ll be instantly familiar, even if you have to search your mind to remember where you’ve seen these colors together

Supra followed the rest of the industry when they started ‘packing up’ the majority of their new releases, but here’s a case where a colorway nickname totally took us by surprise with its finished product.  The  Supra Skytop  ’Hornet’ might have you calling to mind images of the Crown brand’s various ‘Aqua’ and ‘Grape’-styled designs from a couple years back, but what they actually managed to do here is put a refreshing twist on the classic Charlotte/Nawlins color scheme.

Supra paying homage to a Swoosh styled colorway ? Not exactly unprecedented we know, but for those among you fiending for more from the Crown Brand’s Supra Skytop III every new look counts. The titular ‘tour’ of course refers to the yellow sectioning on this sneaker, which is paired with a predominantly black upper in a very Lance-like look.

If their  Valentine’s Day 2012  output is any indication of things to come, be on the lookout for something like a hundred thousand color- and otherwise-themed packs from Supra this summer.  The Crown brand has been cranking up the holiday-style releases just like all the other brands, so going from a single release last year to now five this time around is the kind of thing that’ll have you expecting big things from their catalog as the year progresses.  Joining the ‘V-Day’ Vaiders and ‘Heartbreaker II’ Societys is a trio of red Satin TUF models including the brand’s foundational silhouette, the  Supra Skytop

All   those fans of   Just blaze have something to be happy this new year. The reason, of course is the mega   producer has teamed up with Sky top 11 and is releasing the new. According to sources, only 413 pairs will be created and they will be numbered according to a sequence.

The first superstar hip-hop beatmaker to see a sneaker collaboration release in 2012 won’t be Kanye West and his upcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2, and it won’t even be any of Swizz Beatz’ contributions to the RBK Classics capsule either.  Instead, this young year’s first guest production  comes from Just Blaze  on the  Supra Skytop II  he teased just last week.

For their latest collaborative release, Supra must’ve wanted “some of that hi-hat stuff,” because they got up with a hip-hop superproducer whose energetic sound helped to define the early to middle parts of this decade.  Will Just Blaze ‘s upcoming Supra Skytop II design be just as distinct as his tensely dramatic instrumentals, and perhaps more importantly, can they hold a candle to his own impressive collection ?
