Unlined suede Dunk Highs don’t have to come in wild color schemes with shades like Cotton Candy, and they don’t have to go organic with the earthy tones that typified the mid-’00s in-house NL designs.  In fact, they don’t need to have anything other than white accents and a gum outsole to make a solid first impression like the upcoming  Nike Dunk High Deconstruct .

Yes Nike iD’s options are ever expanding , but every once in a while we get another glimpse at a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design that reminds us how disparate the respective customization processes are in their options. In this case you certainly get what you pay for, as the jumbo-size price tag on the Bespoke designs let you do pretty much whatever you want. The Nike Air Force 1, typically the NSW model of choice for NBA All-Star themed releases, will take a back seat to not one, not two, but three amazing Nike Dunk High releases, designed after the refreshingly unique theme of space travel and intergalactic vibes. If the Nike Basketball signatures and the Foamposites are the ‘galaxy’, then the Dunk Highs are the vessels that travel through the infinite space, as each colorway is depicted with space shuttle graphics and detailing, like the stenciled font on upper and the velcro-removable swoosh and space flight logo on the tongue.

Nike debuted its vulcanized take on the beloved Dunk High silhouette in the summer of 2009 at Tier Zero retailers and followed that up last September with a ‘Deconstructed Pack’ of Quickstrikes available at that same exclusive list of stores.  It looks like there may have been another TZ drop scheduled somewhere in the middle there, as this Nike Dunk High AC TZ sample has just popped up with an ‘FA10′ date on the inner tag.

If you were wondering why you might not have seen as many Dunk Highs at your local Nike Sportswear retailers recently, it’s not because NSW isn’t being true to this beloved pillar, but rather that some of its output for this season has been transferred into a recent variation.
