One of the best of the more understated custom designs we’ve seen on Sneaker News was a ‘Jet Life’ Blazer SB crafted by JBF that celebrated the New York Jets’ AFC Championship run last season, one that just saw its sequel released a couple weeks back. And while the pair pictured above doesn’t have the custom crafted airliner in its heel tab, this Nike WMNS Blazer Mid Premium does indeed have the kind of vintage Jets appeal that’d make Broadway Joe guarantee you’ll buy them. These Blazer Mids for Ladies aren’t a pre-yellowed VNTG release, but rather achieve the classic look by juxtaposing Lush Green and grey suedes, not to mention the old shcool vibe of this silhouette and its vulcanized sole

Thanks a lot, Punxsutawney Phil! Now we’ve got another six weeks of rotten weather to look forward to because of that pesky varmint, though perhaps this latest release from Nike Sportswear is a sign that taking things back into winter isn’t a bad thing after all.

Overshadowed in recent months by boot variations on the Air Force 1 and Dunk, Nike Sportswear’s third standby classic basketball model has come through with a rugged look of its own for the cold weather season. The Nike Blazer Mid ACG ‘Outdoor Pack’ brings together an orange-accented black leather pair with the above pictured Hazelnut suede model whose Sport Red laces and heel stripe might remind you of the Air Magma’s OG colorway . It’s a similar proposition here, dealing with a suede upper that was designed for rough conditions: should you keep them pristine or go ahead and embrace the fact that they’re going to take some scuffs, knowing that it’ll build character

2011 was the year that the medial-zippered  Nike Blazer Mid AB  made its debut, so fitting to see one of the new drops for the spring ’12 season releasing a bit early to make it in as one of this year’s final releases. This new Blazer Mid AB comes to us in a  rough Cargo Khaki suede  whose earhtiness is enhanced by tonal laces and similarly-colored zipper that differs from the brass style showed off in earlier previews. There’s also a black pair on the way with a similar setup, but it’s the olive edition you’ll see in a new series of images after the jump because that’s the one that’s available right now at  Nike Harajuku .

90′s babies may have to sit this one out but hopefully not-as all of you oughta be familiar with ‘The Glove’, and no we’re not talking about the upcoming Gary Payton retro . Imitating the ever so gaudily sequenced glove that first popped up on Michael Jackson’s hand in his Motown 25 performance, sneaker customizer extraordinaire JBF puts together another hit with this Nike Blazer Mid redux. The pair nails the colors and the disco ball look, using the all over treatment to black out the Nike branding on the heel tab and tongue tag

For several years now, Nike has honored Black History Month with special sneaker releases, this year’s pack so substantial that it stretched across Nike, Inc. brand lines to include classic Converses and Air Jordans.

When the Dunk High VT added an vulcanized sole, it also went back a bit from the full-vacuum look found on the cupsole model, adding a bit more traditional stitching than any of Nike Sportswear’s other VacTech releases.

Some six centuries after their decline, the Aztecs are back and ready to make a conquest of their own, only this time, instead of taking back their land from Spanish invaders, it’s an Aztec invasion aimed squarely at Beaverton, Oregon.

Sneaker customizer Sharp020 has, to this point in history, been noted for working with the Nike SB Dunk, but that changes today with this new pair that can be seen to borrow equally from two models separated by roughly two decades.  The Nike Blazer Mid ‘Yuka’ custom takes the classic ankle-high Blazer silhouette and applies a red-on-white stitch radiating from the anterior foxing to imitate the late 19th and early 20th century Japanese military flags
