What was a concerted effort from Nike Sportswear last season has turned into something of a mystery this spring, as VacTech construction has gone from playing a major role in the holiday shopping season to now popping up without warning or a special label.  These new Nike Air Force 1 Lows are like a pair that dropped around New Year’s, both opting for vacuum construction on the rear with sewn-on toecaps and heel tabs, and neither featuring the ‘VT’ distinction that labeled a huge number of VacTech builds in late 2011

The latest Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke we’ve got a look at from Shea White has a couple different angles of inspiration that we’re sure are familiar with many of our readers. Take the ‘Sunglasses and Advil’ name given to them, a nod to an epic night of partying that shows up on the custom hangtag and the unique logo on the dubrae.

Air Force 1 devotees and fans of the Air Jordan Legacy will be getting together this February, and no, we’re not talking about a sneakerhead speed dating event.  This match made in heaven isn’t a romance in the traditional sense, but rather a marriage of classic styles when the  Nike Air Force 1 iD  debuts its Elephant print options come next month.

Thirty years is an exceptionally long time for a shoe to remain popular, so when we talk about the Nike Air Force 1  celebrating its 30th anniversary  in 2012, it’s a testiment to the impeccable design and influence this model has had on sneaker culture and fashion over the past three decades. What better way to celebrate this casual standard than to prepare simple yet satisfying colorways in premium materials, and Nike Sportswear has done just that for the spring season, the above pictured  Air Force 1 Low Premium  arguably the pinnacle of AF1 execution this spring. They’re crafted in that infamous white leather that holds over year after year, but this time it’s a glossy patent to contrast the tonal grey sole setup

It’s strange how sneakers mature in accordance with age in a human-like manner. When the Nike Air Force 1 debuted thirty years ago , it was considered to be a revolutionary basketball shoe, giving birth to a new era of Air-infused performance basketball shoes.

As of late, Nike iD has been rewarding the Air Force 1 faithful out there with a special new option each month . First it was wool , then premium boot leather and this past month just saw some interesting ballistic mesh and rubber options.

The tumbled leather treatment is one we’ve seen ramp up quite a bit for the Nike Air Force 1 in 2012. There was a black and white pair that used it pretty sparingly on the mid panel, and then this mountain green joint that saw the whole front end capped off with the look
