It was another great weekend of NBA games, and the amped-up level of intensity was definitely noticeable throughout all the contests that went down over the last three days. Teams tend to ‘step it up’ after the All-Star Weekend, and that was certainly the case for Sunday’s match-up between the Knicks and Celtics; Rajon Rondo quieted trade-rumor controversy by putting up one of the most impressive triple-doubles in history while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low . The much-publicized match-up between Rondo and Lin took attention away to arguably the most un-discussed All-Star of the year in Deron Williams, who dropped a Heinz-ketchup bottle against the Charlotte Bobcats whilst rocking the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low

2012 might be the best year ever for Nike Basketball signatures, as all three individual signature models are experiencing heavy fanfare across the globe. One such mass consumer of Nike Basketball wares is China, where the Big Three have reached a level of super-stardom thanks to their on-court feats on the Western side of the hemisphere

$90 million is what it cost for Nike to reel in LeBron James, so before the Air Zoom Generation debuted in late 2003 , LeBron wore a diverse collection of sneakers during his first NBA pre-season prior to his regular season debut in Sacramento. The Air Jordan III, Air Jordan IX, Nike Ultramatic, and the Zoom Flight 2K3 are just some of what LeBron rotated during that short period, and it’s quite possible that the Air Raid was part of that group as well

Who rocked the best kicks over the last two nights? That title might go to Jordan Crawford and his Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ in a losing effort against the Knicks, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t other heat! Quentin Richardson rocked the Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ , while the Chicago counterpart popped up on a few more players like Demar DeRozan, who has been exclusive to the Kobe VI for a while. LeBron James wore the Black/Red PE of his LeBron 9 again, Jordan Hill of the Rockets wore the Air Flight ’89 in a fitting colorway , and Jeremy Lin continued the Knicks’ ‘Linning’ ways with the Hyperfuse Low

There’s no place like home, right? LeBron James and Dwyane Wade led the Miami Heat to a win over the Melo-less New York Knicks last night while debuting new ‘Home’-inspired colorways of their signature kicks.

We’ve already pondered a possible scenario involving LeBron James taking his talents to the Cleveland Browns, but what if he chose to play for another pro-sports team in Cleveland? While pure athleticism doesn’t necessarily translate into success in baseball, seeing LeBron roam the outfield with Grady Sizemore would either result in a rock-solid defense, or an insane amount of dropped pop-flys. LeBron would’ve looked sleek in the outfield, especially in these PE Cleats made from the Nike Air Max LeBron VII , only the Air Max upper has been replaced by a cleated outsole to help dig his 260 lb.

The Nike Air Foamposite series has undoubtedly been Nike Sportswear’s biggest retro hit over the past few years, and there are several solid colorways on tap for 2012.  So given that LeBron James is arguably the Swoosh’s biggest star, and that Penny Hardaway is already known to be  one of his heroes , it’s only right that we’d see King James add a pair to his impressive stockade of exclusive designs.  This  Nike Air Fomposite One  LeBron James PE goes the simplest route possible, adding a translucent sole to a black upper that’s seen LBJ’s lion insignia supplant the familiar ’1c’ Penny logo for a look that thoroughly refreshes this model in its 15th year.

Another great weekend of NBA sports was filled out by the collection of NBA games that went down from Friday to Sunday, and mixed in was a ton of great NBA Feet action from some common names that have popped up this season. Monta Ellis brought something new to his repertoire by wearing the Air Jordan XIII ‘Flint’, while Washington’s Jordan Crawford continued his Air Jordan VII agenda by wearing the Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’.
