As we already know from  Watch the Throne’s  ’Paris’ track, if you’re sufficiently successful, people will follow you even when they don’t personally have a connection to the source of your swag.  And so it goes with the  Nike Air Yeezy 2  Kanye West wore on stage during the WTT tour, a shoe so highly anticipated that  campouts began back in late February  in the face of all reason (and without a concrete date to consider).

Two colorways of the Air Yeezy 2 have been confirmed, but not much more has been set in place about this quirky colorway, which we first previewed as the Kobe x Nike Air Yeezy 2 . It shares the same wild colorway as the Christmas release of the Kobe VII also known as the ‘Leopard and was rumored to be worn by Kobe during the 2012 All-Star Weekend (although that didn’t go down).

Where are you Yeezy 2?  The answer to that question is exactly where you want to be on April 13th, a date that unlike the previously circulating March drop rumors is being backed by the very retailers that will have the first  Nike Air Yeezy 2  in store (with some UK spots claiming they’ll have stock a day earlier on the 12th).  The  Wolf Grey and Pure Platinum Air Yeezy 2  is a slightly more aggressive follow-up to the ‘Zen Grey’ Yeezy, this pair undoubtedly more texturally rich than its forebear, but can they produce the same frenzy as the first drops in April 2009

Even though the 2012 NBA All-Star Game came to a close, we’re all still on a high on the ‘Galaxy’ releases like the Foamposite and the Nike Basketball signatures. With the Galaxy Foamposites being on of the toughest sneaker acquisitions in recent memory, would we see any Galaxy Foamposites this week? We saw now one, but two submissions of the Galaxy Foams, but even those might have some stiff competition as we saw a pair of the Nike LeBron 8 ’112′ Friends & Family edition , the Parra x Patta x Air Max 1 , and a slew of other sneakers that have this final February batch of Sneaker News Blogs: WDYWT being one of the best of the year.
