The sneakerhead and streetwear scenes have seen their landscapes so radically altered by the internet (more specifically, the proliferation of broadband, ‘web 2.0′ and its accompanying blogosphere), one need only look back a decade to see how vast the changes have been. Less than ten years ago, Cam’Ron enhanced his marketability by reclaiming colors that’d previously been discarded as ‘feminine’, and just eight years after the  Purple Haze  album, “Everything is purple (swag).” Perhaps Cam remembered that 2Pac in that epic purple Karl Kani denim suit from back in the day, but it doesn’t take an international superstar to recall that this is also a color strongly associated with royalty.

The  Nike Air Force 1 Low Deconstruct Supreme  represents the pinnacle of casual kicks, yet this first drop is moving with some serious urgency.  The first  AF1 Deconstruct  SPRM has touched down at select Nike Sportswear retailers just a day after our first look at them, and this new set of images gives us a better sense for how luxurious this rich leather design really is.  The brown base finds tonal depth in stitching, laces and embossed branding and brass aglets and dubraes offer the perfect punctuation to one of the nicest in a seriously impressive range of Air Force 1s early this year

Simple Nike Air Force 1 Low designs have dominated during this 30th Anniversary year, this pair above reflecting a color and material blocking pattern that we’ve seen on several different releases already.  The latest adds Gorge Green accents to a white leather upper of various textures for a look that will fit solidly with St. Patrick’s Day later this week, but is generally appealing enough that we’ve seen its style replicated on a bunch of colorways nowhere close to Irish

Each of the  Nike Air Force 1 Low Deconstructs  we’ve previewed on Sneaker News have utilized the same upper construction as their Dunk High cousins.  But neither is required to use a nappy texture just because all the old Dunk NLs were done in suede, a fact made tantilizing upon your first glimpse of these luscious AF1 Low Deconstruct Supremes.  Crafted in the caramel/peanut butter (whatever you call it, it’s yummy) leather that’s been used on so many models this summer as a premium finisher, these add a wine-leaning lace with golden aglets for a sophisticated look befitting this smart take on the beloved Uptown silhouette

Since our last look at the Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Light , the Air Force 1 Deconstruct has popped up as an alternative for male sneakerheads who want the slimmed down style. But one thing these AF1 Low Lights for ladies have all over the mens is a unique selection of metallic suede shades . Following up on the Metallic Platinum pair from around the turn of the year is this new take on a familiar color often used on ‘Wheat’ colorups.
