The first of these colorways comes from the Fire Red Air Jordan IV and features a white upper with red and black accents. The second is inspired by the Military AJ4 and yields a white upper with blue accents and a cream midsole. The third and final colorway takes inspiration from the “Bred” Air Jordan 4 and comes with a black base accented by a partially red outsole and a grey midsole.

Nike Air Force one were originally considered the favored shoe of inner-city youth, then hip hop artists and streetball players. Rapper Nelly & Salvador and his group, St. Lunatics, collaborated on a 2002 single entitled “Air Force Ones” about the shoes. Earlier today the Nike Blazer Mid GS Rubiks Cube was mentioned during a conversation and it sort of sparked a little debate on whether or not the sneakers were ever actually released. According to what we reported at the time the Blazers, which were produced just for kids, was expected to hit retailers shortly after our post. The Air Force 1 was produced in 1982 and discontinued the following year. After it released Nike selected six basketball players to endorse, which method made this kinds shoe deeply rooted in basket sports. Another Nike Air Max LeBron VII is in the works, this one apparently dubbed the Air Max LeBron VII “Phantom”  due to its similarity to the black Rolls Royce Phantom. Worst nicknaming ever? It’s got to be up there, primarily because the Air Max LeBron VII looks nothing like a Rolls Royce Phantom, so I guess we need to start calling every black colorway of any shoe a Phantom.
