Last year’s collection of Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low colorways signifying the Elite Youth Basketball League might be supplanted by another popular low-cut basketball shoe – the Nike Zoom KD IV. While last year’s six PE colorways were certainly pleasing to the eye, 2012 will see an upgrade of sorts as we get a first look at the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘EYBL’ Pe in a two=toned blue colorway. This past weekend was likely one of the most action-packed weekends we’ve experienced thus far in 2012. With the NCAA student-athletes battling it out for Conference supremacy, the NBA ballers turned up the intensity as each game plays a larger role in Playoff seedings and building of momentum

Teams tend to ‘step it up’ after the All-Star Weekend, and that was certainly the case for Sunday’s match-up between the Knicks and Celtics; Rajon Rondo quieted trade-rumor controversy by putting up one of the most impressive triple-doubles in history while wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low . The much-publicized match-up between Rondo and Lin took attention away to arguably the most un-discussed All-Star of the year in Deron Williams, who dropped a Heinz-ketchup bottle against the Charlotte Bobcats whilst rocking the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low

The 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend continued with Saturday night’s events, which featured the Foot Locker 3-point Shootout, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, All-Star Shooting Stars Competition, and the headlining act, the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. There was plenty of sneaker action to take notice, beginning with the insane space-themed PEs of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 ( and a Low version ), Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, and the Nike Zoom Brave V (worn by Tony Parker) spotted during the Skills Competition

Quite the eventful weekend, no? With the release of the Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ on Saturday morning and the unfortunate online fiasco that happened in the early morning hours, this past weekend was certainly one of the most eventful ones of the month. Did anyone rock the Cement IV in the NBA?
