Though the ’92 edition has been a recent Nike Sportswear star with its first colorways released in quite some time, don’t forget about the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 .  This new Pegasus ’89 features among the simplest of all colorways, a tonal black/grey upper combined with a grey/white midsole that’s practically begging for a pair of bright red laces.  These are a great option for sneakerheads who have to wear black kicks to work or really just anyone who’s looking for a solid anchor to a variety of clothing options.  Click through to see more shots and expect these at US NSW accounts soon; Swiss sneaker spot Titolo just got theirs. Nike was co-founded by University of Oregon alum Phil Knight, gained notoriety in the early 1970s when the Bill Bowerman-coached Steve Prefontaine donned the Swoosh and gives the Ducks a ton of cutting-edge kicks and gear, so it’s only right to see classic flagship runners done in UO colors.  Check out this new Nike Air Pegasus ’89 , a departure from the subdued colorways we’ve seen on this model of late.  They offer a similarly simple palette but by using vivid green and yellow shades, these still manage to be quite attention-grabbing.  Click through to get a better look at this latest Air Pegasus 89 and if you want a pair, ironically enough, they’re only available from Britain’s JD Sports .

Its younger brother the Air Pegasus ’92 has been resurrected this spring, but what about the Nike Air Pegasus 89 ?  These joints enjoyed a nice OG run but disappeared until a bringback in conjunction with the concurrent 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall’s collapse, but fans of this cult classic have demanded more freedom to choose new colorways.  Well here’s one that should satisfy pretty much anyone’s taste, a clean blend of white, black and Anthracite that’s a nice alternative to the all-white summer look.  Click through to see more and expect these at US NSW shops soon; Sweden’s Shelta just got theirs. A sneaker whose infrequent releases make it something of a cult favorite amongst Nike Sportswear runners, the Nike Air Pegasus 89 is back in a bold new colorway.  Most of the sneaker is split between black and Dark Shadow grey, with a variety of slightly fuzzy materials in use.  But the most notable design element in this pair of Pegasus 89s is the midsole, which is frequently split like the one pictured above but rarely to such eye-popping effect.  The sneaker equivalent of a Clemson Tigers night game, these joints are available now at select NSW retailers including Swiss spot Titolo . We don’t get all that many Nike Air Pegasus 89 retro releases, but for whatever reason, many of the best ones add pink/purple accents to a black base.  Such is the case with this new pair of Pegasus 89s, a pair that could just as easily have ’2010′ appended to its name with this ever-so-timely two-toned look.  These are black-on-black with the exception of the midsole, which offers a dark grey on the front that gives way to the deep pink shade called Wineberry.  One of the best ways to keep some warmth in your winter attire, these black/pink Air Pegasus 89s are available at select Nike Sportswear accounts like the German e-tailer Schuh-You or also on eBay.
