It takes more than just good luck to stay relevant in rap for more than fifteen years, and Jay-Z has proven time and time again that he’s either the beating heart of hip-hop or right on the pulse no matter the game’s ebbs and flows.  A good example was when a 2009 teamup with Kanye and Rhianna sent ‘Run this Town’ to the top of the charts, along with a quote that captured the tonal and toned down post-recession fashion zeitgeist.   ‘All Black Everything’  became every sneaker blogger’s favorite way to describe the ever popular ‘Blackout’ and ‘Triple Black’ colorways common to nearly every significant release, but the  Nike Air Max LeBron VII  ’All Black Everything’ was a different beast entirely.

The heat surrounding the College basketball season begins to get singing around this time of year, as these school squads begin to turn it up another notch for the final push toward the March Madness tournament. Similarly to how the Nike LeBron 9 became the official outfitter of three marquee collegiate basketball programs , the Nike Zoom KD IV will be a team-unifying outfit option (though unofficially).

We’ve already pondered a possible scenario involving LeBron James taking his talents to the Cleveland Browns, but what if he chose to play for another pro-sports team in Cleveland? While pure athleticism doesn’t necessarily translate into success in baseball, seeing LeBron roam the outfield with Grady Sizemore would either result in a rock-solid defense, or an insane amount of dropped pop-flys. LeBron would’ve looked sleek in the outfield, especially in these PE Cleats made from the Nike Air Max LeBron VII , only the Air Max upper has been replaced by a cleated outsole to help dig his 260 lb.

Is Jason Petrie beginning a slow and steady purge of the famed Nike HQ sample closet? Recently, he gave us a look at a sample colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII designed after LeBron’s Fortune magazine cover, but here we have a look that we might be able to relate to a bit more since a shoe similar to this did in fact release; that’s right folks – it’s a mid-cut LeBron 8 V/2 Flamingo/Miami Nights sample. The original shoe, of course, was a low-cut version (that made the Sneaker News Top 30 of 2011 ), but at some point, a mid-cut version was either proposed or experimented with.

Remeber that day in late October when Sneaker News showed you  LeBron James wearing  the  Kentucky Wildcats Nike Air Max LeBron VII  on an Akron, Ohio court along with Kevin Durant in a pair of his upcoming Zoom KDIVs?  Turns out that was just the tail end of a workout that started in the weightroom, continued to the football field and concluded at these guys’ home away from home.  It sounds grueling, and especially for a LeBron battlign a chest cold, you can see the amount of energy it takes to maintain peak form.
