Denim twill material seemed to be spot-on match with the Air Max 1 silhouette, and those who went in on the Nike iD option (still available now, by the way) are probably ecstatic with the quality and results. Earlier this year, Nike Sportswear went tonal with the Volt-like Cyber colorway , but here we have a look at ‘Magenta’ created in the same manner; it’s got the full Denim Twill upper material with additional hints on the Max Air unit and on the sectionals of the outsole

We’ve known for some time that all of  April’s Nike Air Max 1s  were to be united in their use of an  almost-Safari mid panel , but Nike Sportswear managed to surprise us with an as yet unseen design that just snuck out to retail. Perhaps these were tacked on to take advantage of the huge success the white (, grey) and black combo is enjoying this spring, in which case we’re more than happy to welcome the first Air Max runner to this still growing party. Celebrate the Air Max 1′s 25th anniversary by getting in touch with this season’s top trending palette at NSW stores like  Premier

Their shared 25th anniversary in 2012 would make a perfect time to see another round of  Nike Air Max 1s  with Safari print, but so far we’ve only seen hints at those famous ostrich leather-inspired speckles. A recent WMNS Air Max 1′s leopard print pointed at a ‘Safari’ theme from the wild animal angle and this new pair for men opts instead for the texture route, employing the novel  two-toned material on the mid panel  that unites four new Eighty Sevens that have or will be released soon

The Nike Air Max 1 turns twenty-five this year, but to those of us who’ve been rocking these the whole time, they’re truly ageless.

We’re still waiting for that 25th anniversary capsule of Nike Air Max 1s , but this birthday year is indeed shaping up to be quite the bash for 1987′s visible Air debutante.  The Air Max 1 started picking up momentum early in the year with two-tone-plus-white colorways that echo today’s trend towards simplicity, and if you go a step further, the result is something like the pair pictured above.  These AM1s are covered entirely in Cyber twill , and with a white sole and sockliner, they have all the sunny appeal you could ever ask for in a springtime selection

Sneaker News just showed you a set of  Nike WMNS Air Max 1s  and Dunk Highs united by their common use of a lively new theme combining black suede and nylon with  golden leopard print  and a bright red/pink liner.  This look has some referring to them as a ‘Black Beast’ AM1, and the October 2012 slated release puts these on pace to stand out as one of this year’s unofficial Halloween sneakers.

Maybe Nike Sportswear is keeping their plans for a summer blowout tight-lipped until later, but the Air Max 1′s 25th birthday year is almost a quarter over without so much as a mention of the kind of anniversary attention we’ve seen lavished on the Air Force 1.  There is, however, a certain momentum building in previews for new ’87s, and these new  Nike Air Max 1 Premiums  coming up for the fourth quarter provide assurance that we’ll be ending the year with some dope new pairs.  Two of these four were first seen last week and are joined today by grey/black and mint/grey pairs that both go for almst entirely suede uppers instead of the leather wraps shared by the ‘older’ two.

Nike Sportswear’s packs for ladies tend to unite multiple pairs of a single shoe with a unified motif, but here’s a case where, as we see more often with the mens pairs, multiple models have been coupled by a single theme.  For the ‘Leopard Pack’ hitting retailers in the fourth quarter, it’s a  Nike WMNS Air Max 1  and  Dunk High , both rocking golden leopard leather, black leather and suede and a pop from the red sockliner.  It’s a different kind of ‘safari’ print than we’ve seen on either of these, but both could certainly pass for guy’s kicks during a period with plenty of animal print sneakers for male and female sneakerheads alike.
