Many, if not all, of the Air Jordan Player Exclusives we’ve seen over the years include a special embroidering that features the player’s nickname, like Sugar Ray, Nook, Q-Rich, and so forth.

Other notables included Jordan Crawford’s Air Jordan V ‘Raging Bull’ aka ‘Greatest Non-OG Air Jordan ‘, Demar DeRozan’s tonal-red Kobe VII iD, and Donte Green’s Nike Zoom Rookie LWP .

It’s not often that you see a deadstock pair of Air Jordans taken apart piece by piece. Although it may be tough to swallow at first glance, this crisp new pair of the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ has seen the grim reaper and is now separated from head to toe – upper, insole, midsole, outsole.

Ray Allen’s got a penchant for ’3s’, but he wouldn’t be averse to rocking the IIs here and there. Here’s a look at an ‘Away’ Player Exclusive of the Air Jordan II made for the three-point king ; it features a full black nubuck upper with a glossy mudguard panel on the upper, pre-dating the similar Black/White QF release of October 2010. These arrived on Ray’s doorsteps roughly one year after the magnificent trade that brought the Big Three (and an NBA ‘chip) to Boston, but as we know, Ray graduated to the popular XIII PE later on .

Michael Jordan just wrapped up the 11th annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament this past weekend, sporting some awesome Air Jordan-inspired golf gear from head to toe. Starting with his shoes, Michael wore two different colorways of the Air Jordan 2012 golf shoe (one we previewed earlier), used a Carolina Blue Jordan golf club, had an Air Jordan golf bag that featured all the Air Jordan embroidered on the exterior, and even had an Air Jordan III ‘White/Cement’ golf club head cover. He also moved about the green in typical fashion, riding around in a Tar Heel blue golf cart with ’23′ detailing

Of all the great NBA Feet features of the 2011-2012 NBA Season, Quentin Richardson’s Air Jordan XIII PE lies near the top of most intriguing stories of the season. Of course, Q-Rich’s Air Jordan Player Exclusive chronicles date back to his earliest days as an NBA pro – particularly with the Los Angeles Clippers, who drafted him in 2000. These Air Jordan II PEs date back nearly a decade when the Air Jordan II was re-issued a number of colorways, with this PE version featuring the royal blue and red accents with ‘Q’ and ’3′ embroidered onto the ankle collars
