The crepe sole treatment is nothing new for Nike, with plenty of Air Max models donning the squishy material throughout the years. More recently the technique has been ported over to specific lifesytle models from the Nike Sportswear oeuvre, with the Nike Air Royal Mid taking it on last year. Pushing them even further from the sneaker realm is the upcoming Nike Air Royal Desert Boot , steering towards Clark’s immortal Desert Boots in its design

With Nike well on their way to taking over the outfitting contracts for the NFL, you can expect the realm of Football related PE’s to get a lot deeper in the future. A quick taste of that was the Nike 2012 Pro Bowl Pack , a trio of trainers that didn’t find their way onto the field of Aloha Stadium but were quite a treat for the involved players nonetheless
