It was just last week that Nike unveiled its  new Flyknit technology , and already the first crop of sneakers featuring the groundbreaking material has come and gone.  A key part of that set was the  Nike Fly Knit Racer NRG  in a colorway that applies a modified USA palette to this HTM-imagined design.

You can always count on the hosts and guests of BET’s 106 & Park to show off some sick sneakers, but when Wale’s the guest of honor, you know Terrence J is gonna come out with some sick sneakers. During a recent episode of the shoe, Wale took center stage while wearing the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Weatherman’ , keeping the Adaptive Fit straps partially unstrapped for a ‘winged’ appeal, but Terrence J was neck-and-neck as he wore the brightly-colored Nike LeBron 9 ‘All-Star’ . In a separate taping, Terrence wore the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’ as well, drawing fits of jealousy from viewers on location and at home

Remember that colossal contract Derrick Rose just signed to extend his deal with adidas? One of the key factors that makes him such an asset to the Three Stripes is the adiZero line’s apparent popularity overseas, especially in China where speculations put Rose’s signature shoes on the same level as LeBron and Kobe in terms of popularity.

So far in 2012, Nike Sportswear has reintroduced some old classics and remixed others, all while celebrating the Air Force 1′s 30th anniversary. The confluence of these forces has resulted in a relative silence for the  Nike Air Max 1 , a model whose 25th birthday this year is the traditionally more significant celebration. So while there might be something in store for later in the year, the closest thing to serious Air Max 1 excitement we’ve seen in the young year is this upcoming Cyber and white pair in a rugged denim twill.

The Cotton Candy-accented UNDFTD collabo pair that released in 2005 was the highlight of the mid-decade Dunk NL (no liner) collection, and just seven years later, these new pairs with a similarly floppy build show just how far the mainstream has drifted. The Nike Dunk High Deconstruct Premium is soon to arrive in three single-colored suede builds that add white laces and midsoles (except for the tan pair) along with a gum outsole for that classic yet current look.

If you’re stuck in a post-apocalyptic world in which your only source of survival is your sneaker collection, at least you’ll breath easily. FreeHandProfit’s latest creation is at the butchering of a pair of Air Jordan XI ‘Concords’ , in which he used every piece of the puzzle to build this latest sneaker gas mask, down to the clear blue plastic lid for the tinted eye-visor. We’ve seen plenty of gas masks made from the Air Jordan III ‘Black/Cement’ , Air Jordan XIV ‘Last Shot’ , and the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Cheech & Chong’ , but the novelty of these collectible hasn’t worn off yet because they’re still high in demand and garner a ton of attention whenever they go up for auction

Sneaker News previewed a trio of  Nike Air Max 1s  set  for summer 2012  in late January, one of which had a decidedly feminine feel to it. There’s a good chance that one or more WMNS pairs will join that one with different colors in the same pattern, just as has happened here with this new pair suiting up with the mens motif. These take a tonal approach to the Legacy Red and white combo, their subtly patterned side panels adding some depth to the punch of this aggressive look

Currently ranked around 8-10 in the four major NCAA Basketball Top-25 Rankings are the Marquette Golden Eagles – the alma mater of NBA Superstar and Jordan Brand signature athlete Dwyane Wade (and don’t forget the growing legend that is Steve Novak). Just yesterday we showed you a first look at the Jordan Fly Wade 2 in the ‘Marquette’ colorway that the Golden Eagles will likely wear during the NCAA Tournament; it features a University Gold upper with an Obsidian heel for a nice ‘Team’ varsity look has the Fly Wade 2 looking better than ever, joining the two other Jordan Brand sigs for a well-rounded March Madness Pack
