Air Jordan Fusion 4 is a brand between the Air Jordan IV and the Air Force One modelthat began releasing fusions in 2008 and it is becoming quite obvious that they will continue their newest trend throughout this new year. The latest product of this “love it or hate it” Force Fusion line is the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV which merges characteristics of the Air Jordan 4 with the classic body and midsole of the Air Force 1. This pair is inspired by the AJ4 and any fan of the Jordan numbered line will quickly realize the resemblance. Featuring wings, netting, a shoe lace region, and a back heel tab reminiscent of the Air Jordan IV, this pair will will hit home with the AF1 fans through the use of the classic toebox and midsole which includes Nike’s patented clear air bubble. Another key aspect of this sneaker which we have not seen before is the placement of a Nike Swoosh behind the netting on the upper.

Nike Air Force 1 was produced in 1982 and discontinued the following year. After it released Nike selected six basketball players to endorse, which method made this kinds shoe deeply rooted in basket sports. It was re-released in 1986 with the modern italic Nike logo with a Swoosh on the bottom on the back of the shoe. Little has changed to the Air Force One since its creation in 1982, although the original stitching on the side panels is no longer present in modern versions of the shoe. Since then, over 1,700 color variations have been produced, bringing in an estimated 800 million USD/year in revenue. The selling of the Air Force Ones online by certain retailers is prohibited by Nike who has restricted supply of the sneaker.

Nike Air Force one were originally considered the favored shoe of inner-city youth, then hip hop artists and streetball players. Rapper Nelly & Salvador and his group, St. Lunatics, collaborated on a 2002 single entitled “Air Force Ones” about the shoes. As a performance shoe, the AF1 is still used for street play as well as for professional play. NBA players Jerry Stackhouse (who now wears Adidas) and Rasheed Wallace have worn AF1s on court.

Known as the Nike Air Max 90 until 2000, when it was reissued taking its name from the year of its launch year. The original colourway of white/black/cool grey with infrared was chosen to exaggerate the thickness of the sole air unit. The AM90 is especially popular in Europe.

The first Nike Blazer was a pioneering shoe. Released in 1973, it took its name from the Portland Trail Blazers; as Nike’s first hoop shoe, it proved worthy of its name. A welcomed departure from its more clunky counterparts of the time, the Nike Blazer offered several features designed to improve performance basketball footwear for the game: fine grain leather, outsoles that offered greater traction, extra support, less weight. It wasn’t long before the simple white hi-tops with the elongated swoosh became de rigueur on and off the court, leading the way for Nike’s dominance as a basketball/lifestyle brand.

Air Jordan 12 was inspired by “Nisshoki”, (the Japanese flag) and a 19th century womans’ dress boot. Initial public perception was a disappointment. However, featuring gold-plated steel lace loops, embossed lizard skin pattern and zoom air, this model set a new direction in style and technology in shoe design. Though not as light in weight as previous models, the construction and firmness of the shoe is widely considered to be the most durable and sturdy shoes from the Air Jordan line ever made. This shoe known as “OG’s’ came in 5 colorways and was released on March 13. The shoe was released on December 25, 2008 with the Eleven as the final countdown pack. In addition, the Twelve was combined with the Thirteen numbered Jordan to produce the 12.5.

Nike Shox is a technology developed by Nike and incorporated into several of their flagship athletic sports shoes. Shox is small hollow column that make up the midsoles of the shoe, most of them are made of rubber. There are many different formations that Shox come in, but they usually come with four circular columns in a square formation for maximum cushioning. There can also be five or six Shox, 25 mm high, though they may vary in height, and triangular and rectangular Shox that provide better stability. Some shoes have midsoles made entirely of Shox, like the TL series.

The first shoes to use the Shox technology were introduced in late 2000, the R4 runner, the BB4 basketball shoe, and the XT4 cross-training shoe. Nike claims that Shox not only absorb impact from heel strike while running; they also “spring back” and add more power to a runner’s stride. Aside from the boost in speed, the Shox also supposedly provides superior shock absorption with high-tech elastic foam. In reality, the Shox springs actually compress less than EVA foam found in most running shoes, and do not spring back as advertised. Stability is almost non-existent, and the shoe only gives a perfect running stride to people who already have one.

Jordan 6 Rings (also written as Air Jordan 6ix Rings) is a combination of the seven Air Jordan shoes that Michael Jordan wore during his 6 Championship seasons. That includes the AJ 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14. The Jordan Brand company released the “6 Rings” shoes starting in September 2008. The Jordan Brand has released colorways of each team that the Chicago Bulls defeated in their six championship seasons in the 1990s. The colors included the L.A. Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Seattle SuperSonics, and Utah Jazz. There is an Olympic version, a Nelly version, and a shoe that combines the colors of all the teams that the Bulls defeated in the NBA Finals.

It’s amazing what a better picture can do! Many of you were skeptical about the Air Jordan 6 Rings ‘Dark Army’ colorway when we gave you a preview of them yesterday; however, these newly, updated pictures will probably sway your opinion. Nike Air Force 1 (or AF1) athletic shoe is a product of Nike, Inc. Created by designer Bruce Kilgore. This was the first basketball shoe to use the Nike Air technology. The name is a reference to Air Force One, the plane that carries the President of the United States. The shoes are sold in three different styles. The two most common are low-cut and mid-top. Nike also produces a high-top model, which is usually harder to find. The mid-top and high-top Air Force 1‘s come with a velcro-securable strap; the mid-top strap is secured to the shoe while the high-top’s strap is movable and removable. Although the shoe comes in many different colors and color schemes, the most common Air Force 1′s sold are solid white (often referred to as “white-on-white”) and solid black colors.
